Great way to experience a new city! Our guide, Mick, was knowledgeable, sharing many historical, & at times, humorous details of Sydney. The food options were wonderful! We especially enjoyed the vegan dish at Yulli’s & the Aussie burger at Ardi’s. Getting a feel for the Surry Hills neighborhood was an added bonus for us! Lovely way to spend a few hours- highly recommend it!!

We have done tours with Secret in a few cities and are never disappointed! Megan was a great guide and very accommodating of dietary needs (though I'd recommend letting them know ahead if you have serious restrictions/needs). We enjoyed learning a bit about Surry Hills and the food scene and really appreciated the diverse range of foods we tried (classic Aussie apps, vegan, Greek, baked goods, gourmet butcher). Plus, the amount of food was perfect. We left full and happy, but not feeling ill from overeating (a tough balance to strike on a tour like this!).

Megan our guide took us around the Surry Hills area where we tasted oysters, cheese, Aussie burger, creme brûlée tart, zucchini flower and other foods that I can’t remember because there were plenty of choices. We also tasted either a beer or apple cider at the end of the tour. Or you could be like my husband and just try beer at all the places. Megan was friendly and knowledgeable and even helped to make different accommodations if you didn’t eat what was on the tour...( I switched my oysters for some deep fried cheese goodness Megan recommended). There were only 3 people on the tour so we all had plenty to eat and got our money’s worth....have found that food tours all over the world don’t seem to disappoint. And with local guides you always get to the best places as tourists you wouldn’t usually go... good luck in your next match Megan!!! The Texans

We had a great time on the Surry Hills food tour in Sydney. Mick was awesome. He was personable and very helpful in providing suggestions for things to see in Sydney. The food was delicious, especially the Aussie burger and ginger creme brulee tart. I highly recommend this tour.

While Mick was a nice fellow, our food tour was rushed and a little lacking in value for the amount we paid. We experienced long delays for food at two of the four locations we visited. We've done Paris, Amsterdam, Lisbon, and Porto secret food tours and this was our first that did not seem to warrant the cost of the tour, for both the food and the guiding.

My mom was visiting Sydney so we booked in for a weekday tour with Megan. It ended up being just the two of us, and we had a great time! I've lived in Sydney for seven years and had been to a few of the places on the list (so you know they're highlights of the city!), but there were still new gems that Megan showed me (and I'm looking forward to going back there!). She had great stories to share and information about the city that my mom and I found interesting. She was also happy to talk about her life, in and out of Sydney, so it really felt like we got to know her. All in all, we had a lovely afternoon!

A pile of interesting food on a crazy wet day in Sydney. Surry Hills has a lot of character... maybe some colourful insights into local history would enhance things along the way. And with a touch more coordination we could spend less time waiting for the food to arrive and fit in more awesome stops. Not that waiting was a problem - the company was good.

Discovering Surry Hills foodie town in the rain was loads of fun; from oysters and fancy sausage rolls to surprising vegan treats and a fair dinkum Aussie burger. Lovely chats along the way and new friends plus the bonus of our funny host Mick. Highly recommend.

Amazing food and killer guide! Great to have someone show us around the best of their neighbourhood. Having a local who knew the food at each venue was priceless. Amazing choices! Thanks Megan!
