Only an hour from Perth, Riseborough Estate is a spacious modern Winery / Cellar Door and Fine Art Gallery built on a hilltop with spectacular views over the valleys of Gingin. It is located on Petersen Rise off Mooliabeenie Road which connects the historic towns of Gingin and Bindoon in the Chittering Valley.
The vineyard produces mainly red wines, consisting of twenty acres of Shiraz, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Grenache and Pinot Noir.
Riseborough Estate is part of the Chittering Valley Wine Trail and the Astronomers Abbots and Artists Trail. A Fine Art Gallery has been established upstairs with interesting contemporary exhibitions always on show.
Wonderful local specialities such as cheeses, olives, oils, tappenade and dukkah are available from the gift shop, as well as ice creams and soft drinks. Enjoy a picnic under the beautiful flowering gum - taking in the stunning views whilst savouring a great drop!

Set in the Darling Range east of Perth, Lion Mill Vineyards is planted with vines on land selected in the 1870s. Initially part of an important timber milling area, the region later became a centre of fruit growing and small farming.

The Lion Mill cellar door looks out over the vineyards on this picturesque property.

Lion Mill Vineyards is located on the northern side of a gently sloping valley on Charlotte Brook, an upper tributary of Jane Brook. The soils are those typical of the Perth Hills Geographical Indication: loam, gravelly loam and lateritic gravels.

The elevation - about 300 metres, the cold winters and the warm dry summers provide conditions that are well suited to the production of quality fruit displaying regional characteristics.

Happs Winery and Pottery is a premium wine producer with vineyards in Dunsborough and Karridale. Since 1978 people have visited to appreciate their mud brick buildings, beautiful gardens, handcrafted pottery, and exquisite wines. With around 30 different styles on the tasting list, you can be assured to find wine that perfectly suits your taste.

The majority of fruit comes from their Karridale Estate 'Three Hills', where midday temperatures are moderated by a fresh breeze off the Southern Ocean. With a longer and more even ripening period, more mature and complex flavours are allowed to develop, giving rise to first class fruit, the best of which is expressed in their premium range - Three Hills.

Happs pottery is amongst the oldest and most successful in the region, offering a contemporary range of functional and artistic wares in a broad range of stoneware glazes.

A friendly place to visit, with something of interest to a broad range of people, you may find - like many others have - it becomes a regular 'must' on your to-do list in the south west. Happs Winery and Pottery is located in Dunsborough, a three and a half hour drive south of Perth.

Visit Vineyard 28 and meet their namesake the '28' parrot. Just a one and a half hour drive south of Perth - conveniently located off the Old Coast Highway - halfway between Mandurah and Bunbury, and only five kilometres south of picturesque Preston Beach in the Geographe Wine Region. Darlington Estate Winery and Restaurant is situated just 25 kilometres from Perth, set atop a beautifully wooded valley with sweeping views of eucalypt bushland.

The winery offers wine tastings and cellar door sales, while the restaurant is famous for its ambience, atmosphere and rustic surroundings.

Kevin and Di Cullen planted a trial acre of vines at Wilyabrup in 1966 to form Cullen Wines.

The encouraging results of this led to the planting of 18 acres of vines in 1971, including their first Cabernet vines. Daughter Vanya Cullen, took over the winemaking in 1989 and Cullen Wines has evolved into an estate specialising in single vineyard, premium quality wines, focused on wine integrity, rather than rapid expansion.

The vineyards are grown using biodynamic techniques and have "A" Grade Organic Certification with the BFA.

The restaurant overlooks the historic vineyard and in keeping with the organic philosophy in the vineyard, all dishes are prepared using fresh, organic produce that is sourced from their own garden and select local producers.

Grape varieties: Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Semillon Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Malbec, Petit Verdot, Pinot Noir, Cabernet Franc.

Established in 1982, Wignalls Winery is located in the heart of the Great Southern winery region. It is only a five minute drive from the centre of Albany. The winery boasts manicured and sheltered gardens and a rustic stone cellar door.

Come and enjoy the tranquil rural setting while tasting a superb selection of wines. Wines produced include Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Port, Shiraz, and late harvest Frontignon.

Lamont's Swan Valley venue has personalised over the years to market demand in regards to the wine and food styles it represents. Only 40 minutes from Perth's central business district, this magnificent winery is nestled between protected wetlands and the estate's vineyard in the middle of Tuart (Eucalyptus gomphocephala) country.

Open every day, Peel Estate is the ideal spot for a day trip. Share a bottle of wine with a picnic or cook a barbecue and relax the afternoon away in the beautiful picnic grounds. If you're visiting during vintage (February/March) you may be able to see the winery in action while sampling some of Western Australia's finest wines.

Taste the extensive range of award-winning, premium quality wines in the mezzanine tasting rooms overlooking the winery cellar. Their full range of wines is available for sale seven days a week, as well as wine glasses, jugs and more. Maiolo Wines and Vineyard is a family owned and operated business, situated 25 kilometres north of the Margaret River town site on Bussell Highway, Carbunup.

The first plantings took place in 1988 and the winery was completed in 1999. Cellar door sales were officially opened in October 2000.

With picturesque surrounds, and their beautifully manicured vineyard, your wine tasting experience will be enhanced.

Their Mediterranean style cellar door sales area is exceptional. Rosa and Denise Maiolo welcome you to try their award winning wines, and maybe wander upstairs to have a look at their local wood turning gallery.

Private charters are more than welcome, but 24 hours notice is essential.

They currently produce five varieties of boutique style wines- Reds- Cabernet Sauvignon, Shiraz, Pinot Noir and Whites- Chardonnay (unwooded), Semillon Sauvignon Blanc.

Wine purchases can be organized for delivery direct to you from the winery, on the day of arrival.

Currently their sales are within Western Australia, New South Wales and soon to venture into Victoria. Recently they sent their first export to Tokyo Japan. The response to the wine is outstanding, and they're thrilled with the result. Their next objective is to expand into Canada, and New York City.

Over the years we have received success across all varieties, with Riesling the undoubted star. All our wines have won medals at accredited wine shows, in Australia and overseas. James Kellie, formerly of Howard Park - Denmark, has built a ‘state of the art’ 500 tonne winery at Harewood Estate in Denmark. It is here that James applies his passion to crafting our fruit into our award winning wines. We are very proud of what James creates and he is truly part of the Trevelen Farm wine family. Working in close partnership with James since 2004 vintage has seen our wines achieve even greater consistancy. Regular vineyard visits are the key to this consistancy.

Our wine is the result of a passion for growing excellent fruit. It all starts in our vineyard, part of a long history with the land here. The Trevelen Farm vines were established as an extension of farming operations in 1993, starting the most northerly vineyard /wine label in the Great Southern Wine Region. Our signature Riesling and Cabernet Sauvignon support our range of wines that include Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Katie's Kiss Riesling, Merlot and Shiraz. From our first vintages, all our wines have received critical acclaim.
