Perth Fishing Safaris

7 Ellesmere Heights, Hillarys WA 6025

Perth Fishing Safaris is a fully licenced and insured professional fishing guide service that offers rock and beach fishing tours for small groups of anglers out of Perth. We'll take you to beaches and rock ledges that offer some of the best land based fishing opportunities in the world. Our goal is to put clients onto big fish that fight hard. Our specialties are tailor, mulloway, snapper, sharks, shovelnose and rays and on certain trips our clients can also be in with a chance of catching samsonfish, spanish mackerel, cobia, tuna and more. While our safaris are predominantly based around fishing, four wheel driving and sightseeing are also on the agenda. It's not uncommon to see kangaroos, emus and reptiles on our safaris and if you're lucky you might see dolphins surfing the waves, seals snoozing on the beach or whales cruising the deep blue.

Our fishing trips cater for beginners right through to the most advanced. All of your gear, bait and tackle is provided and you're welcome to bring your own gear too. The gear we supply is top of the range from Shimano and other reputable brands. The fishing can be as much or as little hands on as you like. If you've got absolutely no idea what you're doing that's great, just relax, we'll do everything for you and teach you as we go, so that next time you go fishing you'll be a pro! On the other hand if you're a seasoned fisho who knows what your doing just let us know, we'll put you on the money and let you do your own thing.

We are proud supporters of catch and release fishing, however, if you choose to keep the fish you catch that's perfectly fine. We can even fillet your catch for you at your request.

The reason we started Perth Fishing Safaris is to give locals and holiday makers an option to go fishing for large pelagic and surf predators, with the added bonus of exploring the coastline and being taught the ins and outs of rock and beach fishing. On our guided fishing tours you'll have an entire expanse of coast to yourself, with a maximum of 4 anglers per vehicle/guide. Some of the sharks, shovelnose, rays, mackerel, cobia and tuna we catch are sometimes over 50kg in weight, captures that will absolutely blow your mind!

Perth Shore Excursion: History of Fremantle Walking Tour Logo and Images

Perth Shore Excursion: History of Fremantle Walking Tour

35094 - Fremantle WA 6160

When your ship docks in Fremantle, take a shore excursion for a walking tour through the dynamic port city–known for its historical sites, well-preserved architecture and a vibrant arts and restaurant district. You’ll see Fremantle Prison, the Roundhouse, Town Hall, and the Cappucino Strip with an expert local guide sharing stories and insider knowledge about this lively city with a relaxed and alternative ambiance.

You'll board a complimentary shuttle from the Fremantle dock to the Visitor Center where you’ll meet your local guide. After introductions, you’ll head to the nearby Town Hall, its Victorian architecture largely unchanged since it opened in 1887. Many of Fremantle’s formerly grand Victorian and Edwardian buildings have remained intact, more so than in other Australian cities.

After checking out Town Hall, you’ll follow your guide through narrow winding streets and hear amazing stories from colonial times in Australia. Fremantle was the the birthplace of the Swan River Colony, the British settlement that later became Western Australia (Australia’s largest state).

Enjoy a stop at the notorious Fremantle Prison, built in the 1850s by convict labor and in use until 1991. UNESCO added Fremantle Prison to its World Heritage list in recognition of its being the last and most intact of the British colonial prisons in Australia. Convict laborers built colonial buildings and worked in mining and agriculture, especially necessary when the early colony's population was sparse.

Take a guided tour (at own expense) and listen to your guide’s stories about Irish prisoner escapes, British bushrangers (escaped convicts with survival skills for the wild) and the expulsion of aboriginal people to Rottnest Island. You'll learn about Rottnest Island's importance during World War II and be able to spot it from the Roundhouse.

When you reach the Cappuccino Strip, you’ll stroll along the thriving streets, alive with cafes, art galleries, pubs, restaurants, music venues and funky shops.

Your walking tour ends at the Fremantle Roundhouse. Built in 1830, the Roundhouse is Western Australia's oldest building. Get a sense of this historic prison’s significance as your guide explains its role in the colony. From the top of the steps, you’ll be able to snap photos of the fantastic views over the harbor, ocean and colonial Fremantle.

The total distance walking is approximately 2 miles (3 km).

Worry-free Shore Excursion:

We will ensure your excursion ends with ample time for you to return to the Fremantle port for your ship’s departure. In the extremely unlikely event your ship has departed, we will arrange for transportation to the next port-of-call. If your ship is delayed and you are unable to attend this activity, your money will be refunded. See our terms and conditions for full details.

Busselton Jetty is the second longest wooden jetty (pier) in the world[citation needed] at 1841 meters long.[1][2] Over 500,000 people visited the iconic Western Australian attraction in 2017/18.[citation needed]

The Jetty is managed by a not-for-profit community organisation Busselton Jetty Inc. Proceeds from tours and entry fees go back into conserving and preserving the heritage listed[citation needed] Jetty.

The jetty construction commenced in 1853 and the first section was opened in 1865. The jetty was extended numerous times until the 1960s, ultimately reaching a length of 1841 m. The last commercial vessel called at the jetty in 1971 and the jetty was closed the following year. It passed into the control of Busselton Shire and has been gradually restored and improved since. Swan Valley Premium Winelovers Experience - Full Day Tour

35245 - Perth WA 6000

If you're looking for an in-depth and personalised wine tour, then this is the one for you.

It's not just about tasting a wide range of amazing varietals at the best Swan Valley wineries, we go beyond the cellar door and take you behind the scenes into the winery and vineyard to get an insight into wine production, the unique terroir of this region and to meet the winemakers. This behind-the-scenes insight is unique to each tour depending on what stage in the vintage it is and what is happening in the winery on the day - you may get to see picking, crushing, blending or even experience a barrel tasting - you just never know what the winemaker will have in store for us!

This tour includes Pick-up options for Perth City, Crown Perth and Fremantle Cruise Port.

Tours are guaranteed to be a maximum of 12 people, so that you get a personal and memorable experience.

We have great relationships with some of the best winemakers in the region, and with this insider knowledge the itinerary for each tour is thoughtfully crafted to ensure our guests get the best possible experience, each and every day. Often this means that you may get access to experiences that are not available to the general public.

Guaranteed small group sizes (max. 12 people) also mean that Up Close and Local Tours have access to wineries that won't accommodate the big tour buses - so you get away from the crowds and off the regular beaten tourist path for a more intimate and one-on-one tasting experience. All of the wineries we visit are family owned, and are personally hand-picked by us for their quality winemaking skills, as well as their historical significance to the region – and obviously because they have some excellent wines for you to taste!

This is an ‘all inclusive’ tour – with all wine tastings included in your tour price (including reserve and award winning wines), plus a gourmet platter lunch with a glass of Swan Valley wine and exclusive behind the scenes experiences.

You will have the chance to sample well over 50 wines throughout the day - everything from a Verdelho to a Durif to a Muscat. Most of the wines you will try are produced small batch, so the only place you can find them is at the cellar door. This is the ultimate wine tour for people that really want to experience the best hidden gems in the Swan Valley.

The day is set at a relaxed pace so that we have plenty of time for questions and discussion at the wineries and with your fellow wine lovers.

Our tours are guaranteed to be a maximum of 12 people, so that you get a personalised and memorable experience.

This tour includes:
• All wine tastings including Reserve wines
• A gourmet platter lunch with a glass of wine
• Behind the scenes wine experiences
• Cheese tasting
