 Welcome to the Aqualife Centre, a fantastic facility which offers a range of great recreational, social and sporting opportunities for people of all ages and abilities. The Centre has an indoor 25 metre lap pool, spa, steam room, indoor leisure pool, hydrotherapy pool, crèche, and café which are complemented by an 8 lane outdoor heated 50 metre pool. Great Family Fun!

The beautiful outdoor pool offers an abundance of green grass and shady trees for relaxing under, with public BBQ facilities available free of charge.

There is also a fully equipped gymnasium and a separate multi-purpose function room which is used for group fitness and function hire.

Barrabup Pool is a naturally formed watering hole just outside of Nannup. The peaceful location is a popular swimming and canoeing spot. The surrounding tall native trees provide plenty of shade and the tranquil waters make it a relaxing setting to unwind. Walk out onto the viewing platform for endless photo opportunities or cast a reel into the water and try your luck at catching lunch. Marron is also a popular find in these waters in season. Take advantage of the shaded barbeque and picnic facilities or camp overnight to allow more time to explore the surrounding area. Take on the picturesque Old Timberline Rail Trail, a 22 kilometre walk and cycle trail following the old tramway for a truly memorable experience. Barrabup was once a thriving timber mill town in the early 19th century and as you approach the pool you will see the remains of the mill office, which is the only evidence remaining of its existence. Barrabup is a 10 minute drive from Nannup and three hours south of Perth. Camping in Western Australia's natural areas is a special experience. Lane Poole Reserve is a nature lover's paradise. With its extensive network of bushwalking tracks along the Murray River, it is a favourite recreation spot for West Australians. There are numerous opportunities for swimming, fishing, canoeing and rafting, with hire equipment and organized tours available from the nearby town of Dwellingup if required. Enjoy abundant wildlife and a diversity of ever changing landscapes. The reserve covers nearly 55,000 hectares comprising rock rimmed pools, rapids and small waterfalls, spanning out to steeply forested valley slopes and undulating woodlands. In winter, the Murray River flows like a raging torrent, and in summer it dwindles down to a gentle stream. In spring, the forest fills with wonderful West Australian wildflowers and in autumn you can hear the bird calls echo through the early morning mist. Stay overnight in one of the many camping and recreation areas, or pack a picnic and enjoy a day trip. Lane Poole is just two hours south of Perth near the town of Dwellingup. Rocky Pool is a freshwater pool near Carnarvon. This picturesque setting makes for a wonderful day trip. No matter what time of year you visit the pool, you will be able to swim in the inviting waters thanks to the year round warm climate. Take a walk around the Rocky Pool admiring the beautiful ghost gum trees, float in the tranquil waters and explore the shallow pools for fossils that have been washed down from the Kennedy Ranges. Bring a picnic, or cook up a meal on the barbecues provided. Rocky Pool offers an opportunity to relax and appreciate the beautiful tranquil environment. Carnarvon is a 10 hour drive north of Perth. Whilst in the area visit the Carnarvon Heritage Precinct and walk along the north's longest jetty, One Mile Jetty.

One of Mother Nature's most inviting swimming pools, Greens Pool is among Western Australia's most iconic beaches. A picture postcard of clear emerald waters, pure white sand and sculpted rocks that shelter the bay from the swell beyond, it's a top spot for swimming, snorkelling and diving. A short scenic drive west of Denmark, passing forests of tall timber giants, brings you to this serene setting in William Bay National Park. Getting to Denmark is a four and a half hour drive south of Perth, or you can hop on a flight to Albany and pick up a hire car. Sit and drink in the scenery, explore the rock pools, snorkel, dive, or take a short stroll over the headland to Elephant Rocks, where nature has shaped huge boulders into giant elephant-like sculptures bathing in the clear waters. A long and peaceful walk along this stunning coastline rewards you with breath taking views of Madfish Bay, Waterfall Beach and an abundance of wildflowers in spring.

Go bushwalking at Dales Gorge and Circular Pool - two of the best spots for a picnic at Karijini National Park in Western Australia's north-west. Two billion years in the making, Karijini National Park is one of the country's most spectacular natural attractions offering amazing hiking trails through ancient gorges. In Dales Gorge, a four kilometre walk trail runs along the bottom of the gorge. Here you can go swimming in the stream, permanent water pools and beneath waterfalls. Lush green ferns and the occasional gum tree contrast with the red terraced cliffs weathered by time. Give yourself three hours to make the return journey. The two hour return hike to Circular Pool involves a loose steep descent and then an easy ramble. Here, you'll find hidden gardens and a clear rock pool. You can see Circular Pool from a lookout on the Gorge Rim Walk. This walk follows the rim of Dales Gorge between Circular Pool Lookout and the beginning of the Fortescue Falls track. You'll be amazed by the colours of the ancient rock faces. Karijini National Park is a two hour drive from the town of Newman and is best accessed by joining a four wheel drive tour.

Caroline Pool is a picturesque natural waterhole amidst a tranquil setting which is great for a refreshing swim. Take advantage of the pleasant surroundings to enjoy a swim in the cool clear waters and enjoy a picnic on the shore. Situated a five minute drive from Old Halls Creek, the pool was the town's main recreational site up until the town site moved to its current location in the 1950s. Many Halls Creek locals still frequent the swimming spot. Located on the Black Elvire River ten minutes drive from Halls Creek, Caroline Pool is an ideal location during the wet season and early into the dry season to relax and take a break on the long drive from Broome to Kununurra. Later in the dry season the pool can dry up. Halls Creek is a four hour drive south of Kununurra. Kununurra is a three hour flight north of Perth.

The scenic Greenough River Mouth and Devlin Pool offer a superb diversity of water sports and land based recreation activities for the whole family including swimming, fishing and canoeing. It is a popular area for nature enthusiasts with the Greenough River Nature Trail winding along the river banks and through surrounding bush land. Devlin Pool can be accessed via the 45 minute walking trail which will lead you to a peaceful stretch of water where you can take a refreshing swim or cast a reel into the waters to try your hand at fishing. The trail is also suitable for cycling. The Greenough River Mouth and Devlin Pool are located four hours drive north of Perth. The river flows past the historic town of Greenough, renowned for being the best preserved town in Australia.

In Broome, see Anastasia's Pool, a natural rock pool which is part of the history of the town and tells a touching story. The pool was modified by a former lighthouse keeper, to make it easy for his wife, Anastasia, to access. Anastasia suffered badly from arthritis and found relief in the warm water of the Indian Ocean which filled the pool at high tide. Anastasia's Pool is on the north side of Gantheaume Point which is well worth a visit for its dinosaur footprints. Thought to be 130 million years old, the footprints can be seen at very low tides. You can find out the times of the tides by contacting the Broome Visitor Centre. Anastasia's Pool and Gantheaume Point are a short drive from Broome's town centre.
