The Theatre shares its foyer and bar facilities with Forum6 cinemas. Theatre and Production Consultant, Richard Stuart was engaged to plan and oversee the fit-out of the theatre. With a hydraulic orchestra pit lift, automated winch flying system and well equipped sound and lighting rigs the Capitol Theatre is a great new performing arts venue. The Capitol Theatre Tamworth is a a regular stop on the national touring circuit and a well occupied theatre for local and regional events and productions.

The Country Music Hall of Fame is now open at its new location in Tamworth. The Australian Country Music Hall of Fame, including the Walk a Country Mile exhibit, features an unmatched collection of memorabilia from Australian Country music artists. Displaying clothing, musical instruments and other collectibles from the earliest pioneers of Australian country music such as Smoky Dawson, Buddy Williams, Tex Morton June holms, Shirley Thoms right through to current artists Beccy Cole, Adam Harvey, Amber Lawrence and more. The Walk A Country Mile display has a range of static displays as well as videos depicting the history of Tamworth and country music.

The annual NCHA Tamarang Futurity is the richest three year old horse performance event in Australia with prize money of over AUD700,000 on offer. The Futurity features the best Cutting Horse action in Australia with competitors and spectators from all around Australia and overseas travelling to Tamworth NSW for the event which takes place in the world class Australian Equine and Livestock Events Centre. In addition to the packed Cutting program, some of the evening entertainment includes the popular NCHA Stockman's Challenge, Aussie Horseman Demonstration, Bull Riding, Rodeo, Professional Farriers and country music entertainment. Leonie is a patch worker, quilter and sewer. Leonie holds morning and evening classes suitable for all ages and skill levels for patchwork, appliqué, embroidery, fashion and craft.

Inspirations has a coffee gallery, serving delicious morning and afternoon teas and tasty lunches.

We serve home-made meals, slices and cakes and provide an extensive gluten free menu. You can dine in or takeaway and we can cater your next function in-house or delivered to your venue.
