Lake McIntyre is a sanctuary for the prolific birdlife, has native trees, lovely shaded setting, observation hides, Interpretive Centre, boardwalk and bridge, viewing platforms, walking trail, free access and picnic areas.
You don't have to be an experienced bushwalker to enjoy the walking trail, which takes approximately 20 minutes to skirts the lake. Seats have been provided in several locations and the trail provides access to two bird hides.
