The Griffith Boat Club is a member run club on the grassy shores of Lake Wyangan. The club boasts its own club house, boat ramp, barbecue facilities, and lush green lawns. Easter time is time for the Jet Boats racing, in the sprint track and throughout the year, powerboats and formula powerboats race. Camping facilities are available, with toilets and showers. It's the perfect place for a day, weekend, or week of skiing or fishing.

Codemo Smallgoods have a history of smallgoods manufacturing dating back to the 1950s and pride themselves on providing quality not quantity! Their specialties are salami, bacon, sausages, prosciutto and ham which are manufactured on site and distributed throughout the region to wholesalers and retailers, as well as being sold at their retail outlet. A visit to the shop will give you the opportunity to taste the different styles of Southern and Northern Italian salami which ranges from extra hot to mild, as well as black olives, chillies and cacciatore.

A real work of art, the 5 x 12 metre soft sculptured theatre curtain was hand sown by over 300 locals and took over 12 months to make. On selected dates - (please check with Griffith Regional Theatre or Griffith Visitors Information Centre regarding availability) you can go and view the curtain first hand whilst an audio presentation on the history is running. While you are at the Griffith Regional Theatre don't forget to check out the Mosaic Lifecycle Community Cultural Project which is on display at the Theatre entrance.

City Park should be close to the top of the must do list in Griffith. The park has been listed in the top 10 playgrounds in NSW with the tallest climbing frame in the Southern Hemisphere, a splash pad area and a flying fox. The museum highlights the influence Italians had on the area. You will find original buildings, machinery, vehicles, antiques and even Churches amongst the collections. The recently added Wine Building aims to educate visitors on their proud winemaking history and offers a glimpse into the rich history of wine grape growing in Griffith. The Italian Museum houses an incredible collection of artefacts from the earliest Italian settlers, from machinery to kitchenware and beautiful handmade garments. The Park is also now the permanent home of the Knitted Garden, a wonderful display of lifelike knitted and crochet delights! The Griffith Regional Art Gallery is part of the refurbished, Griffith Soldiers Memorial Hall Complex, which was built in the 1930s in the art deco style to the design of a local architect Mr AB Long. One of Australia's leading regional cultural institutions, holding significant collections of Australian art. The gallery also presents around twelve exhibitions annually ranging from touring exhibitions, acquisitions and works by our very own local artists. The major collection is Australian Contemporary Jewellery from 1960; also the Griffith Collection featuring regional artists and artists who have exhibited in the gallery.

Their wines are seasonal, meaning each vintage is unique due to weather and conditions of that year. After harvest, Peter assesses each wine. Based on its merits he then decides on the blends and varietals. For this reason stock may be limited and the product list is always changing. Keeping in mind his European heritage, where family and friends gather together for a glass or two of wine with lunch and dinner, Peter specialises in quality wine packaged in 15 litre casks with an easy pour tap.

Hermits Cave is situated to the left and down a path below the former Sir Dudley de Chair's Lookout - now named the Hermits Cave Lookout. The cave was once the home of Valerio Riccetti, a miner from Broken Hill. After being jilted, he left Broken Hill and lived the life of a hermit in his cave on Scenic Hill. During World War II, he was interned and after his release he returned to the cave. He became very ill and sought refuge from one of the local doctors. In return for treatment he tended the doctor's garden. The hermit again became very ill and the citizens of Griffith collected money and sent him back to his home country in Italy where three months later he died.
