Welcome to Swinging Bridge Estate a small, family owned vineyard at Canowindra, New South Wales in the heart of the Central Ranges. The vineyard was established by the Ward and Payten families in the scenic Belubula Valley overlooking the Swinging Bridge, a local landmark, in the historical town of Canowindra.

Swinging Bridge Wines are dedicated to making distinctive, handcrafted premium wines that encompass their family values. The family is extremely proud of the recognition and success that the award winning wines have received and the satisfaction and enjoyment the wines have brought their valued customers.

The cellar door is in the main street of Canowindra in The General Store, first set up by Tom’s great-great grandfather in 1874.

Where wine and food come to meet - with you ! Canowindra@Home is an incorporated association of food and wine producers who offer events to showcase locally produced food and wine. They run markets stalls twice yearly and hold two 100 mile themed lunches or dinners. They do a 100 Mile lunch or dinner by appointment.

Toms Waterhole Winery and Cellar Door is located on Longs Corner Road, eight kilometres from Canowindra, just follow the brown and white location signs. Wines are handcrafted on site, where you can meet and talk to the winemaker. Call in and witness winemaking first hand and taste fruit, fermenting, and finished wines. Try the Methode Traditionale Sparkling both sec and brut de brut, dry table wines and Tawny Port. Wine blending workshops are held for groups of eight or more people and especially team building exercises. Enjoy some local delicacies in their winery outdoor cafe? Ploughman's lunches with specialty breads, from the wood fired oven, home preserves, smoked meats and espresso coffee and cakes are available Saturday and Sunday, or mid week by booking. A quick phone call to book at the Winery is appreciated Wood fired pizza nights are held for groups of 12 or more.

Rosnay is an organic vineyard and orchard at Canowindra, in the Central Ranges of NSW. Rosnay was created by the Statham family in 1997, and produces certified organic wines, olives, and figs. Certified organic since 1998, the vines and orchards have never been sprayed with harmful chemicals, a family commitment that began with Richard's father Clive Statham. The family's wine growing heritage begins on the other side of the family, with Florence Statham's French grandfather, Alberic Dulong de Rosnay, after whom the farm is named. Rosnay Organic Farm and Vineyard is available any day of the week to visit by appointment only.

The Canowindra Historical Museum depicts the development of Canowindra from the 1840s frontier township on the Belubula River to its growth as a rural centre. Horse drawn vehicles, vintage farm machinery, textiles, household memorabilia and an authentic slab hut recall the pioneering days. Bus tours and school groups are welcome by appointment and teachers can plan visits to link with units of study.

The Wallingtons moved from Sydney to established their vineyard in 1990. Since Anthony's death in 2003, Margaret and her four daughters have continued to produce carefully crafted wines, embracing the principals of organic and biodynamic agriculture. They also grow olives, and raise sheep and cattle on their 400 hectare property. The winemaking and tastings take place on site in their unusual Straw Bale Winery. Cellar door tastings and sales are held at the winery. Both individuals and groups interested in tasting wine and exploring wine making are more than welcome to arrange a private tasting and tour of the vineyard and winery. They also cater for celebrations, special events or groups wanting to enjoy lunch or dinner at the winery . The Winery Cottage is available for farm stay, it has been recently renovated and can accommodate up to eight adults comfortably.

Soak up the unique character and country charm at Eddy's of Canowindra, in the historically restored convent, complete with high ceilings and a 360 degree veranda. Conveniently located on Tilga Street with shopping, galleries, eateries and the village centre an easy five minute stroll. The building has been purposely refurnished to cater for group bookings as well as smaller groups and can comfortably accommodate up to 32 guests. There are 10 bedrooms, four with en suites and all are fitted with reverse cycle air-conditioning. A fully commercial kitchen is available and provides a fabulous space for guests to host their own functions. There is a communal lounge and dining room complimented with large deck including a barbecue for guest enjoyment. There is ample off street parking including bus parking....

Step back in time in this 1910 Canowindra farmhouse built of solid block typical of the era. Canowindra farmers Richard and Florence Statham have restored this as a comfortable guest house and farmstay. It has one twin room and one queen room with a spare single bed - so up to five guests are easily accommodated. For extra guests it also has a foldout couch in the sun room. There is a veranda with tables and barbecue, a kitchen-dining room, sunroom, cosy lounge room with internet and shared bathroom. Tea, coffee and milk are provided, as well as fresh farm eggs upon request for breakfast....
