Gogeldrie Weir is a major irrigation structure located on the banks of the Murrumbidgee River and is the principal water diversion point for the Coleambally irrigation area, as well as providing supplementary supplies of water to the Murrumbidgee Irrigation Areas. The grounds of Gogeldrie Weir are an ideal picnic/camping area for families with fantastic barbecue facilities, toilets, showers and fully stocked kiosk. Fishing equipment available for hire. 20 cabins are also available.

The Roxy in Leeton is an art deco building and was opened in 1930 as a cinema and a stage was added in 1933. The Roxy film screen is one of the largest roll-up mechanised screens in Australia measuring approximately 16 metres wide by 8 metres high. The Roxy is one of a small number of two level cinemas in New South Wales, and has been classified by the National Trust. In its present role, is a multi-function centre combining concert, live theatre, films and community events with a capacity in excess of 800 seats. Films are screened on Friday and Saturday nights, with matinees during school holidays. Tours of the Art Deco Theatre are available on request.

*Please note that Fivebough Wetland is currently closed to the public due to Crown Lands undertaking significant environmental improvement works. Given the extended period of wet weather it is likely that the wetland will be closed to the public for some time. Visitors thinking of visiting the wetland should make prior contact with Crown Lands or Leeton Shire Council to determine that the wetland has been reopened to the public. Fivebough Swamp is two kilometres north-east of Leeton, New South Wales. The wetlands contain a habitat of exceptional quality for water birds, particularly waders. Around 174 different species of bird have been observed at Fivebough to date. Call into Leeton Visitors Information Centre prior to visiting to obtain maps and local bird information.

Tastes of Leeton presentation is held 11.30am daily at the Leeton Visitors Information Centre. Visitors will learn about some of the local industries here in Leeton such as citrus, walnuts, and rice. You will get to taste some of the products and also take away a few samples. The presentation takes about 20 minutes and would be of interest to families, travellers, and students. Group bookings are more than welcome.

The 1929 Yanco Weir is one of the earliest weirs built on the Murrumbidgee River to regulate the flow of water to the Murrumbidgee Irrigation Area. It was reconstructed in 1980 with a fixed wall and separate gated control structure on the Murrumbidgee River. A quiet area suitable for picnics or nature watching.
