Surfaris runs Learn to Surf, Intermediate and Advanced tours between Sydney and Byron Bay most weeks of every year. You can join these trips in either Byron Bay or Sydney and terminate at either destination. The tours are all inclusive of accommodation, meals, transport, surf gear, and surf lessons. You can also make your way to Surfaris by driving yourself, catching a train or bus. The most popular tour is five days from Monday to Friday. Accommodation is at the Surfaris Surf Camp near Crescent Head, New South Wales, half way between Sydney and Byron Bay. Surfaris has 15 different surf breaks to choose from so you can surf the best conditions on any day. Surfaris is well appointed with swimming pool, common room, kitchens and wireless broadband internet. They are situated in a remote section of the New South Wales coastline where uncrowded surf conditions are most common.

Situated less than 15 minutes from Crescent Head, Banyandah Studio offers beautiful surroundings including a working Alpaca Farm and fruits in season. The ancient form of Encaustic Art using beeswax as paints is demonstrated on site. Also, contemporary art featuring surfing and local landscape are available for sale. It is also the home of 6Ps Surf Films where from time to time editing takes place, and can also be demonstrated. You are always welcome to come and enjoy a relaxing atmosphere in lush coastal surroundings.

19 kilometres south-east of Kempsey, Killick Beach is bordered by the natural beauty of the Hat Head National Park, starting near the village of Crescent Head in the south the beach extends to Hungry south of the village of Hat Head. The southern end of Killick Beach is protected, having been declared a National Surfing Reserve. Since the 1950's surfers came to Killick Beach as the headland near the village of Crescent Head, rocks and sand bars help to create one of the longest point breaks in the country. The northern end of Killick Beach is also popular with surfers, fishers and campers.

South of Crescent Head are the beautiful beaches of the Goolawah Camping Reserve. One of them, Delicate Beach, is very popular with fisherman and nature lovers. This beach has no lifesaving patrols, so it is advised to surf safely and keep a close watch on children. Toilets and a cold shower are provided at Delicate Beach, where camping is permitted. Dogs, kept under control, are welcome.
